Fmea Coordinator

We are willing to improve our Team, we are looking for a/an FMEA coordinator for the Automotive and Railway division of our Group Headquarters. The selected resource will aim to develop, coordinate and facilitate the structured implementation of the FMEA approach (in product and process development) according to the AIAG/VDA standard methodologies (rev.1 – 2019).

Required:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (mechanical, mechatronics or management);
  • Proficiency in FMEA methodology. Applications without specific skills on the subject but with passion towards the topic will also be evaluated. These figures will undergo specific training;
  • Good computer skills, preferably of APIS software;
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language. The resource must demonstrate the ability to hold a conversation in the language;
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication and organizational skills;
  • Willingness to travel briefly.

The resource will work closely with both the automotive and railway product development teams, as well as the various plant contacts at locations throughout the group to share the FMEA approach. He/she will report directly to the Technical Department managers and will interface with customers, Management, Technical Department, Quality department, Commercial/Logistics Department, Purchasing Department and Production.

Specifically, he/she will be responsible for:

  • Implement the internal FMEA software, becoming its reference expert;
  • Create standard FMEAs for each business process by interfacing with all relevant business figures;
  • Organize, coordinate and moderate the FMEAs of all automotive and railway projects;
  • Train technical figures in both technical departments in methodology and future changes;
  • Influence and manage conflicting priorities among the various cooperation functions;
  • Ensure regular review of all active FMEAs by performing annual inspection of productions;
  • Coordinate external design firms and monitor design activities with LOP;
  • Monitor planned actions in the open FMEA until their completion;
  • Ensure that FMEAs comply with specific customer requirements;
  • Participate in client meetings where the FMEA is discussed;
  • Ensure the alignment of the DFMEA with the project;
  • Ensure alignment of the PFMEA with the actual production process;
  • Moderation in the creation of FMEAs for new product development.
